Jaffa Café in San Luis Obispo was opened in 2002 by Adnan Saleh and Mike Ghannam as our flagship location. It began as Cornerstone Market and Deli and slowly evolved into an eclectic and fun eatery with all the delicious, authentic, homespun recipes from Adnan and Mike. In 2012 our second location was opened in the Village of Arroyo Grande by Ali and Wendy Saleh – Adnan’s brother and sister-in-law. In 2015 our third location opened in Santa Maria, also by Ali and Wendy Saleh. Each location is independently owned and operated.
Jaffa Café has won New Times “Best of SLO County – Best Mediterranean Food” by the Annual Readers Poll in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015!
Since 2002
In December 2019 Adnan decided to close the SLO location after 18 wonderful years. We wish Adnan a happy and healthy retirement from the restaurant business and thank him for many great memories in Jaffa SLO!
